Fernando Aiuti is Full Professor, Head of the Department of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and Head of the Post Graduate School of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of Rome La Sapienza.He was born in Urbino, Italy and is married with three children.

1961: Degree in Medicine at the University of Rome La Sapienza.
1963 to 1965: Scholarship from the National Council of Research, Italy and from the Italian Ministry of Education.
1966:Appointed Assistant, Institute of Infectious Diseases, University of Rome La Sapienza.
1973: Appointed Assistant, Institute of Internal Medicine , University of Rome La Sapienza.
1980: Appointed Full Professor and Head, Department of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, University of Rome La Sapienza, permanent position.
1989 to 2007: Director of School of Specialization of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of Rome La Sapienza.
